Figueret Via Ferrata (Relleu, Alicante) K2

Best season: From June 1st to November 30th.

Difficulty: K2 (easy).

Meeting point: At the Tramuntana Aventura office or in Relleu (entrance to Señoríos de Relleu olive oil tourism site).

Basic characteristics: One of the most beautiful via ferratas in the province, with an incredible mountain atmosphere, standing out from the rest thanks to its spectacular ridge section at the end.

After putting on our equipment, we begin the activity on a hiking trail located on the south face of the mountain, right where we left the vehicle. After a gentle ascent of about 10 minutes, we continue with a second, slightly more demanding climb that takes us to the base of the via ferrata. After a short break, we start the activity.
This first section of the ferrata crosses the side of the mountain until reaching the base of the vertical section. From here, we encounter vertical stretches of 10 to 20 meters combined with horizontal sections, until we reach the upper part of the via ferrata, passing along the mountain ridge to the rappel point.
Once completed, we descend to the end of the cable section and then continue descending on foot along a trail back to the starting point of the activity.
