
Canyoning is an activity that consists of descending canyons, streambeds, or mountain rivers formed by water erosion. This descent is done by jumping, walking, sliding, swimming, or using ropes. Participants must navigate waterfalls, slides, pools, and other river features. Canyons can be filled with water or dry.
Objectives:
- To introduce participants to the basic techniques of canyoning.
- To familiarize them with the essential equipment needed for canyoning.
- To recognize the different geological features found in a canyon and their origins.
- To promote the appreciation of the natural environment as a space for sport and recreation, facilitating its enjoyment for participants.
Prices: 45 euros per person, minimum 3 people or joining a group.
Discounts for groups of 10 or more people.
Transportation: Not included. (Cost of €10 per person for transportation, subject to availability).
Includes: Wetsuit, neoprene socks, accident insurance, liability insurance, and specific equipment (helmet, harness, descender, anchor line).
Requirements: Not suitable for pregnant women or people with vertigo.
When can it be done? On any date scheduled by Tramuntana Aventura (see calendar) or, if you are 3 or more people, on the day that best suits you (check availability).
