Discover the history of Alicante through the centuries, from the Medina Laquant (the city's origin) to the Baroque city of the 18th century.
We will visit:
- Explanada de España: Puerta del Mar, Casa Carbonell, and other prominent buildings.
- Palace of the Count of Lumiares.
- Paseíto de Ramiro: city walls and coastal defenses.
- Plaza del Ayuntamiento: City Hall and the Ciudad Descubierta (Open City).
- Medina Laquant: noble houses, the Camino de Santiago (Way of St. James), Basilica of Santa María.
- Casa de la Asegurada, Plaza del Puente, Cara del Moro (Moor's Face).
- San Roque neighborhood (18th-century stonemasons' houses, San Roque Hermitage, etc.).
- Santa Cruz neighborhood (humble 19th-century houses, streets decorated with flowerpots and flowers, city walls, Santa Cruz Hermitage, and viewpoints). - San Cristóbal Square (old city walls)
- Labradores Street: Baroque mansions.
- Co-cathedral of San Nicolás.
- End of the tour at Abad Penalva Square.
